Inquire

The function of an electric motor is to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. This conversion is typically performed by using the force of a magnetic field to rotate an electrical conductor within the field. The resulting rotational energy can be used to drive machines or devices.

Applications of an electric motor

An electric motor has many applications in today's world. Some of the most common applications for electric motors are:

-Drive vehicles such as cars, buses and trains

-Operate heavy machinery such as cranes and excavators

-Drive fans and pumps

-Generate electricity

What do you know about electric motors?

The electric motor is a versatile and powerful tool that can be used in a variety of applications. Whether you want to power your home, car or business, an electric motor can provide the power you need to get things moving. With so many different uses for electric motors, it's no wonder they are such a popular choice for those looking for an efficient and effective way to get their jobs done.

How can we use electric motors

An electric motor is a device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. The most common type of electric motor uses an electromagnet to rotate an anchor to generate a rotational force. electric motors can be found in a variety of devices, including fans, pumps and tools.

What are the working conditions of the electric motor?

A prerequisite for the rotation of the three-phase asynchronous motor is a rotating magnetic field, whereby the stator winding of the three-phase asynchronous motor is used to generate the rotating magnetic field. We know that the voltage between the phases of the three-phase AC network is different by 120° in the phase, and the three windings in the stator of the three-phase AC asynchronous motor also have a 120° different spatial orientation. When the three-phase power supply is supplied, the stator winding generates a rotating magnetic field. After the stator winding generates the rotating magnetic field, the rotor conductor cuts the magnetic field lines of the rotating magnetic field to generate an induced current, and the current in the rotor rod interacts with the rotating magnetic field to generate an electromagnetic force. The electromagnetic torque generated by the electromagnetic force drives the rotor to rotate in the direction of the rotating magnetic field. In general, the actual speed of the motor is lower than the speed of the rotating magnetic field and not synchronized. For this reason, we call the three-phase motor an asynchronous motor.
