The water pump is responsible for the circulation of water in the cooling system. It is driven by the engine via a belt and consists of a impeller that pushes the coolant through the radiator and back to the engine.

How to use the water pump for agriculture?

When using a water pump for agricultural purposes, there are a few things you need to consider. First, make sure that the pump is properly installed and all connections are safe. Secondly, pay attention to the capacity of the pump and do not overload it. Third: Always use clean water in the pump to avoid contamination. Fourth, check the water level regularly and refill if necessary. Fifth: Store the pump in a dry and protected place when not in use.

The task of the water pump

The task of a water pump is to transport water from one place to another. This is done by using a series of moving parts to create a suction that pulls the water up and out of the pump. The pump then pushes the water through a series of pipes and to the desired location.

water pumps are used in a variety of applications, including powering irrigation systems, supplying water to residential and commercial properties, and providing water for industrial processes.

What are the characteristics of the water pump?

(1) The water flowing in the centrifugal pump is sucked in along the axial direction of the impeller and flows perpendicular to the axial direction, i.e. the direction of the water flow in and out is 90° to each other.

(2) Since the centrifugal pump relies on the impeller inlet to create a vacuum for absorbing water, it is necessary to inject water into the pump and suction pipe before starting, or use a vacuum pump to extract air to create a vacuum, as well as the pump housing and suction line must be tightly sealed. No air must escape, otherwise no vacuum will be created and no water will be absorbed.

(3) Since an absolute vacuum cannot be built up at the impeller inlet, the suction height of the centrifugal pump must not exceed 10 meters. In addition to the loss of travel due to the water flowing through the suction line, the actual permissible installation height (height of the pump axis from the suction water surface) is significantly less than 10m. If the installation is too high, it will not absorb water; Since the atmospheric pressure in the mountain area is lower than in the plain, the installation height of the same water pump in the mountain area, especially in the high mountains, should also be reduced, otherwise this will not be possible to absorb water.
